On your computer: AT2020 mic/Audacity (for any laptop or desktop Mac or PC)

For just $500, we'll come to your home, install a high-quality USB version of the AudioTechnica studio microphone, a industry standard mic stand, and Audacity audio recording and editing software. There's no need for an MBOX or an equivalent with this system - the mic plugs directly into a USB port on your Macintosh or Windows computer. This package works with virtually any computer.

We set up your mic, install Audacity, then set up an Audacity project that maximizes the sound of your voice and of the room you're set up in, compressing, expanding and equalizing the sound to make you sound your best.

We then take the time to train you on how to use your new mic and Audacity, walking you through tne process of receiving an audition, recording it, exporting it as an MP3 file, and then submitting to your agent or client. We even leave behind a job sheet with screen shots and step by step instructions on how to do it. And of course, we're just a phone call away.

The digital revolution is on, and auditioning for voiceover projects is now a snap if you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch - all you need is Rehearsal, the new app for working actors.

Rehearsal is designed for on-camera actors to memorize their lines, rehearse their scenes and explore their characters, in preparation for auditions or production work. Rehearsal has the capability to record scene audio - and that's where it comes in handy for voiceover auditions.
